Today is a very special day. Today is "Kiss and Make Up Day."
That's right folks we have made a day for making up with people. A day where we can confess all of our past transgressions and be met with forgiveness and a clean conscious.
I find the idea...silly.
Why is it that we need to have a day for things we should probably do everyday? I will omit Valentine's Day from this list since I will have an article for that on that day.
If you ask me you should be getting your business handled on a daily basis if you just so happen to have some. It would almost seem that if you don't do it today you will have to wait a whole year to do it.
Granted this day is probably considered obscure knowledge, but I have seen cards and such being sold for this day on the internet. This leads me to believe that people use it as a day to "handle up" so to speak.
I guess this day does serve some benefit. It forces people into a mode where they should take care of such business with people they have wronged. I guess you could call it a silent motivator.
This of course doesn't excuse the fact that the problems could disappear on any day if you would just do something about it.
Same thing with these "Appreciation Days" You should be appreciating your Mother, Father, Secretary etc. everyday for the jobs they perform. You don't need farncy gifts to show that...but they help sometimes :P
So if you have wronged someone today, give them some tongue and tell them you are sorry. If this is a spouse or significant other then do your duty and get some make up sex. Believe me make up sex is always better the longer you leave the problem lingering.
